2021 Tahoe & Suburban
Slide to the back
The all-new available power sliding centre console serves two functions. When you need a secure place to store your things, by sliding back 10 inches, the console provides an additional secure cubby for your belongings. The second benefit is for those in the second row who now have easier access to the cupholders and power outlets at the rear of the console.
Bigger & Better
The Tahoe and Suburban did not just get facelifts, they also got even more versatile. Best-in-class cargo volume of 122.9 cubic feet for the Tahoe was achieved by making the 2021 model 6.7 inches longer than its predecessor. The wheelbase also grew by almost 5 inches. For the Suburban, there was a 4.1 inch increase in wheelbase and 1.3 inch increase in length to provide 144.7 cubic feet of cargo volume. That is an increase of 23 cubic feet over 2020. Each model’s increase in size also translated to roomier cabins for passengers. All three rows will appreciate a bit more room to spread out.
Stand Taller
If you thought magnetic ride’s ability to make the drive smoother was impressive, wait until you experience the all-new air suspension. This system allows the Tahoe to raise and lower itself to best take on the surroundings. For instance, during highway driving, the Tahoe lowers itself 19mm to achieve optimal aerodynamics and fuel efficiency while drivers have the option to raise the Tahoe by up to two inches when driving off road (1 inch at low speed while in 4WD high and 2 inches at low speeds while in 4WD low).
